THE FIRST SEVEN

The First Seven is the brand new rock n roll outfit to emerge from Bimringham, UK. Made up of the former members of 'Blackballoon' and 'honeyman', they are creating s stir with their unique blend of groove based, funky, dirty, riff based rock.

With influences ranging from Sly Stone, Betty Davis, Stevie Wonder through to Motley Crue, Stone Temple Pilots, The Almighty and QOTSA, its clear to see that this diverse range of influences is helping to make The First Seven a serious band to reckoned with.

GARY NOCK

Gary is an amazing Singer/Songwriter who is destined for huge things this year. I've been playing with Gary for around 2 years on and off. Gary is recently signed a major publishing deal as is currently writing new material and co-writing with some big name writers and producers.

With influences from Bob Dylan and Jeff Buckley to Damien Rice and Dave Matthews, its only a matter of time before he becomes a household name.

STEVE SMITH

I have been playing for Steve Smith for around 2 years now and I feature on three tracks from his debut album 'TEN'.

Steve is a Guitar virtuoso player in the same vain as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Andy Timmons.

For the past year or so, Steve has been demonstrating Ibanez guitars and Laney amplification at every major music trade fair in Europe. You can hear my drumming on his backing tracks if you ever see Steve perform.

DRUMFEST EVENTS

The Drumfest has been running for ten years this year and has won the Rhythm Magazine readers poll award for best events for four years running.

Collectively, the Drumfest now the largest Drum Clinic event in the world and plays host to some of the worlds best drummers hosted across three events in the UK each year. I have become an integral part in the organisational team working with Professional Music Technology to produce each show.

Recent years have seen performances by legends such as Benny Greb, Johnny Rabb, Keith Carlock, Jo Jo Mayer, Omar Hakim, Mike Portnoy, Terry Bozzio, Jimmy Chamberlain, Greg Bissonette, Steve White, Billy Cobham, Kenny Aronoff, Thomas Lang, Mark Richardson, Mark Mondesir, Zoro, Ian Paice and many more.
